Why Iyengar?

Iyengar Yoga, originated by BKS Iyengar (1918-2014), is known for two main ideas: use of props; precision of instruction. Iyengar Yoga with Anna Rain 2019 Winter Series

Anna Rain is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.  She began her practice in 1994, has been teaching since 2000, and has passed four levels of rigorous assessment to hold currently the level of Junior Intermediate II.  To improve the art and science of her teaching, she studies with her mentors in Pennsylvania regularly, and she visits the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India every two years.
